Compared to the last report, demand in Idaho for good quality alfalfa 
is light and very light on premium and supreme quality alfalfa, grain 
hay has had moderate demand but light supplies.
There has been a few more sales than normal from the last couple of weeks, 
there is lots of hay moving down the highways from previous contracts 
and agreements but there hasn't been a lot of new sales in Idaho.

According 
to the U.S.
Drought Monitor Website, The entire state is under abnormally dry to 
moderate drought.

According to Idaho Department of Water Resources 
and NRCS, the snowpack for Idaho is: Owyhee range 22% of median, Bruneau, 
Salmon Falls, Goose Creek, ranges are 49%-52% of median, Raft range 
is 76% of median, Bear River, Blackfoot ranges are 89%-91% of median, 
Portneuf range is 59% of median, Willow range is 68% of median, Snake .
